Commercialising IP – Perspectives from Industry, Academia, and Start-ups

Join us for a panel discussion bringing together IP practitioners from Fortescue, the University of Western Australia and Whole Green Foods to share practical perspectives on commercialising intellectual property - from large-scale mining, to food-tech innovation, to university research. The session will cover commercialisation models, IP ownership, licensing and drafting lessons, and the dynamics of collaborating across organisations with very different scales and commercial objectives. Whether you practise in-house or in private practice, this event offers an opportunity to hear candid, experience-based perspectives on the challenges and opportunities that arise when taking IP from creation to commercial outcome.
